From a very early age, Natalia Baires knew she wanted to work with children. Having graduated from California State University, Northridge with a B.A. in Psychology and Chicana/o Studies in 2012, Natalia discovered the world of behavior analysis and grew a passion for it. During her time at CSUN, Natalia was involved in the Social Validity Project, which assessed families’ responses to ABA services they were receiving. In 2015, Natalia earned her M.S. in Counseling with a focus on Applied Behavior Analysis. The completion of her thesis on observational learning and children with autism led Natalia to presenting her work at professional conferences and a student symposium. That same year, Natalia went on to pass the exam to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Natalia has research published in academic journals, such as Behavior Analysis in Practice, and is committed to disseminating behavior analysis to Spanish-speaking communities.
Natalia works as a Clinical Supervisor and is the Program Coordinator for IEBI’s Infant Development Program.
